Statement
My work explores the profound relationship between duality and spirituality through the interplay of light and dark. Using a strictly black-and-white palette, I craft portraits and silhouettes that emerge from the tension between opposing forces: presence and absence, the seen and the unseen, the tangible and the ephemeral.
In these compositions, darkness is not a void but a fertile ground—a source of infinite potential. I delve into the shadows to pull forth imagery that feels both familiar and enigmatic. The contrast of black and white becomes a language through which I explore the spiritual dimensions of existence, revealing how the interplay of opposites creates balance, depth, and meaning.
